This week Kim. A, Carolina’s cousin and oldest friend, joins us to talk about her experience with miscarriage and then the birth of her son followed by another miscarriage and the birth of her daughter. She also talks about the differences between an epidural with her first baby versus unmedicated with her second. Finally she shares about her resilience through the diagnosis and treatment of her daughter’s craniosynostosis, a condition in which the bones in a baby's skull join together too early. She is a fighter and a beautiful example of the ends a mother is willing to go to in order to advocate for her child.
